Product Description
Duo for Violin or Viola and Double Bass was commissioned from bassist and composer Tom Knific by Thomas Martin for a premiere performance at the 2005 ISB Convention at Western Michigan University. The two movements, “Henley-on-Thames” and “An Event” were inspired by scenes of the English countryside, alternating between pastoral nostalgia and an energetic jazz and blues theme and variations. Includes a piano score and separate parts for violin or viola and double bass.
