Music for Violoncello and Double bass

Karr's unique arrangement of the Rossini Sonata gives the bass an absolutely equal voice with the cello. The microphones happened to be turned on during this classical jam session and the joy of the moment can now be shared with everyone who listens to this disc. It's obvious that the bass tries to outdo the cello. Barbara Thiem believes that the score was tied.
