Franz Joseph Keyper: Concerto No 2 in G

In the scores held at the Royal Library in Copenhagen, this concerto in G is listed as the second of seven that Keyper wrote for the double bass. Although the concerto is undated and the only one of the seven concertos without a number, it appears to have been written around the same time as the first, dates 1786, and the third, dates 1787. Keyper was probably working on the first four concertos simultaneously. The folder contains on a score: it is titled Concerto per il ContraBasso/ Composto del Sig Keyper.
