"Bass Tunes" by Paul Ramsier, 17 Solos in 1st Position w/ Accompaniment for Bass Teacher

Bass Tunes, edited by George Vance, was written in the first Simandl positions for the beginning student to explore the bass as a solo instrument. Each piece includes a bass part for teachers during lessons. In performance, the second part can be played by the teacher or an advanced student. These pieces also make effective recital solos and duets or group performances. The composer has included optional piano parts for seven of the tunes, including Barbershop Waltz, Circus Act, Chaplin and Frankenstein.
